Today is INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING.
It is celebrated under the 2014 Theme:
A message of hope: Drug use disorders are preventable and treatable
3 NGOs have organised activities for this occasion.
Campaign for Awareness, Resilience and Education (CARE) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education is hosting the handing over ceremony of the “Children’s Resilience Relay Message”. This will take place at Mont fleuri Secondary school at 1.30pm
The NGO Parents with hope is holding its meeting today at 4.30pm in commemoration of this day.
Centre D’Accuille De La Rosiere has scheduled a candle light march at 6pm this evening, starting off from St Paul’s Cathedral.
