The Citizens Engagement Platform Seychelles (CEPS) met with the Chinese Ambassador, HE. Guo Wei, on Monday 23rdNovember 2020 for a courtesy meeting. The meeting is part of CEPS key strategic area to strengthen and build relationships. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss strategic areas for support and collaboration between the two parties.
CEPS was represented by its Vice-Chair, Mrs. Marie-Nella Azemia, and the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Michel Pierre. A summary of information about CEPS and the Civil Society Sector in Seychelles was provided to Ambassador Guo Wei and several CEPS projects were also tabled and discuss during the meeting. Ambassador Guo Wei assured CEPS for support and agreed to collaborate with the institution in future activities and projects which will benefit the country and its citizens at large.
