As part of our continuous engagement for human rights to be respected, the Citizens Engagement Platform Seychelles (CEPS) once again this year commemorated the Zero Discrimination Day on Friday 1st March 2024. The local campaign, which we have done over the last two years on a pilot basis was initiated by CEPS Board member, Mr. Justin Freminot (the Chairperson of the HIV/AIDS Support Organisation-HASO). The ‘Zero Discrimination’ campaign is in line with the United Nations’ (UN) aim to promote global solidarity to end global discrimination for good. The theme for this year is ‘To protect everyone’s health, protect everyone’s rights,’ highlighting the importance and need to protect people’s health, and rights, and to put an end to AIDS.
