The annual HIV/AIDS Colloque is being held in La Reunion from 08th of October 2014 to 10 October 2014. This year’s theme is Equality in care in the Indian Ocean. This is an opportunity for all actors in the elimination of HIV/AIDS to take stock of the epidemic and to learn of new strategies. LUNGOS was being represented by the following NGOs: HASO, ASFF,YOUTH ALIVE, NCFD, and COMPASSION. Recommendations will follow subsequent to the outcome of the colloque. It is to be noted that four of the civil society members attended a UNAIDS workshop which focused on the synergy of member associations towards zero infection of HIV. An outcome of the workshop is the setting up of a platform for HIV/AIDS associations named RAVANNE L’OCEAN INDIEN, and Seychelles is the first President, as the 2015 meeting will be held in Seychelles.
