The World Cancer Day , 4th February, is fast approaching and in Seychelles, the Cancer Concern Association will be commemorating the day with some activities and we are appealing to one and all to join hands in this fight against cancer. Our theme for this year is ‘I pa Enposib’. We are asking each and everyone to wear something white that day to show solidarity with people whose lost their lives with cancer and those still affected by it….be it as a patient, a family member, friend or colleague.We are also organising another ‘Walk for Hope’ on 4th Feb, which was a great success last year, and will begin at the Seychelles hospital at 5pm ending with a Praise and Worship service at St Paul’s Cathedral . An appeal is being made to anyone who has experienced cancer to come forward to talk about their experience either in the service or in the media..plse contact me on 252 59 28..other activities will follow and we will keep you posted…stay safe and stay blessed.
