Mr. Shoshei Sakai of the Japanese Embassy based in Kenya met with CEPS members to discuss the possibility of assistance via Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) in Seychelles. In 1989, the Government of Japan introduced GGP in order to respond to the diverse development needs in less developed countries. The aim of GGP is to provide financial assistance to non-profit development organizations for implementing projects at community level.
CEPS has welcomed this project and hopes that its members apply for the project and benefit from the funds available
